Pay Scale: Rs. 16,800-3%-24,110/- (S-3 Grade)
Age Limit: UR - 30 years OBC - 33 years SC - 35 years
Experience Requirements: Should have post-qualification experience of Three (3) years for UR/OBC candidates, and Two and Half (2 ½) years for SC candidates in repair, jointing and termination of HV and LV cables. Technician (Cable Jointer) should have experience in following areas: 1. Carrying out different types of straight through and end terminations of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) / Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) / Paper Insulated (PILC) flexible cable – HT, LT and Control grid. 2. Laying and dressing of HT, LT and control cables 3. Familiar with relevant IE Rules and shut down procedures 4. Ability to study cable route drawings and other electrical schematics 5. Knowledge of operation / maintenance of transformers, switchgears, motors, control circuits and other auxiliary equipment of power distribution system is desirable.
