Pay: Consolidated pay of 225000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month.
Last Date: 31 May 2023
Tenure of Appointment: The appointment will be till 31 March 2024 from the date of his/her joining the
Institute which may be extended later (with a provision of suitable enhancement of pay)/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidates.
Tenure of Appointment: Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 May 2023, age may be relaxed for SC/
ST/ OBC/ Women and differently abled candidates.
Qualification: First class or equivalent CGPA in Master’s degree in Sociology/ Anthropology/ other social science subjects from a recognised University or Institute. Candidate with minimum one year of research/ field study experience from a reputed institute or university on livelihood related issues, agrarian studies, or rural development with evidence of publication in the related field will be preferred. Knowledge/ experience in data extraction, data processing and analysis using SPSS/ R/ other related statistical packages for social sciences desired.

At the time of joining, selected candidate has to produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification and a medical certificate of fitness from the Medical Officer of the Institute. Failing this, the institute will offer the position to the next candidate in the merit list prepared for this purpose. CVs with incomplete information or without supporting documents will be summarily rejected. Applicants shortlisted for interview/ written test will be notified by e-mail to the address provided by the applicant within June 2023 with maintenance to all preventive measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19 global epidemic as directed by the Government of India. The selected candidate will have to station in Giridih, Jharkhand and work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator of the project and no accommodation/ house rent will be provided separately. The project involves filed studies in rural/ tribal pockets. No TA/DA is admissible for the candidates appearing Interview/ Written Test.
