Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/ Botany from a recognized University. Candidates with M.Sc. (3+2 year pattern) in Botany should have qualified NET.
Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000/- (consolidated) + HRA @ 16%(for first two years) Rs. 35,000/- (consolidated) + HRA @ 16%(for third year)
Age Limit: 18-35 Years as on 10-01-2020 (Relaxable to Female candidates, SC/ST and OBC as per existing rules of Govt. of India/ICAR).
Desirable Qualifications: Working experience in similar project.
How To Apply For NBPGR Vacancy: A walk-in interview will be held on 10/01/2020 at this Regional Station for a purely temporary and co-terminus post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DBT sponsored project on “Collection, Conservation, Taxonomy, Diversity, Cytology, Molecular Characterization and Nutritional analysis of Momordica subangulata Blume subsp. subangulata and other edible species of Momordica L. From Northeast India”. The appointment will be, initially for one year and can be extended up to three years subject to the performance of the selected candidate or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. Interested and eligible candidates may attend a walk in interview with a copy of Bio-data in the prescribed format (available in ICAR-NBPGR website), original and attested copies of certificates like educational qualifications and experience certificates, etc. No Objection Certificate from the present employer also needs to be submitted, if already employed in similar positions. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
