Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) only per month

Job Responsibilities: To Plan and ensure execution of security arrangements as required by OPTCL. b) To look after all security arrangements in the premises of OPTCL. c) To supervise and control the work of security personnel. d) To assist the OPTCL authorities in maintaining law and order. e) To investigate into
thefts and other issues in field units of OPTCL. f) To provide intelligence support to the management. g) To attend all emergencies and advise corrective measures. h) To maintain liaison with the Police and District Authorities regarding law and order problems. i) To assist the OPTCL Authority in day to day functioning i.e. eviction of unauthorized occupants / intruders in different premises of OPTCL across the state. j) To facilitate installation of tower and stringing of transmission lines of OPTCL, coming within right of way, in coordination with district administration officers like Tahsildar, Sub-Collector, Collector and Police authority.

General Instructions: The engagement will be initially for a period of two years. The engagement may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance and requirement of OPTCL. b) Date of Birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/ council will only be accepted. c) The candidate selected will be engaged as Chief Security Officer (CSO) (on contract basis on a fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand only) per month. d) He will not be entitled for Dearness Allowance or any other Special Pay or Allowance, over & above the consolidated remuneration. e) During the period of contractual engagement, she/ he will be entitled to get Traveling Allowance for approved tours in line with the Corporation's prevailing norms. f) She / He will be provided with CUG SIM by OPTCL. g) This is a full time engagement, hence the candidate engaged as CSO shall not accept any other appointment / engagement paid or otherwise. h) The engagement can be terminated at any time by the Corporation giving one month notice, if performance found to be unsatisfactory. However in case of any misconduct including but not limited to misappropriation, negligence or causing loss to the Corporation engagement can be terminated without any prior notice. i) She / He will be eligible for 10 days of leave in a calendar year. Balance leave will not be carried forward to subsequent years. In case of engagement during mid of the calendar year leave will be reduced proportionately. No payment in lieu of unutilized leave will be paid at the end of expiry of contractual period.
