Qualification: Minimum 55% in M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics. Preference may be given to the candidates with proven research experience & field knowledge as per requirement of the project
Pay Scale:Rs. 25000 + HRA for 1st and 2nd Year and thereafter Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rd Year as SRF.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having experience and knowledge in large data handling (satellite data and satellite data products, Census, NSSO, meteorological data etc.), with working knowledge of Hyper spectral/ Microwave Remote Sensing, R, Python, MATLAB software(s), GPS, DGPS etc., and Forest/ Geology/ Flood field survey will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities: JRF/ RF will be responsible to carry out various image processing activities and GIS analysis. The team will also perform the extensive field activities related to project as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
